Ella's Public House - DELAFIELD

This is a very good restaurant that has the potential to be something great! Tofu salad is a 5-star vegan dish! Keep up the good work. Lose the Bucca-style kitchey wall decor to make this place look like an elegant hotel lobby and you will attract the after-work business crowd you desire.

Bartender had an attitude. When we said we made a reservation through Open Table they said we did not, they don 't use Open Table . The staff was short handed so the service people took it out on the customers. Our hamburgers which wee ordered medium rare were well done. They place is small with no atmosphere inside. The outside tables sit on the parking lot and look onto parking spaces where cars are within 2 ' of the tables. (We prayed the drivers had good brakes and put the big pickup trucks into the right gear when leaving. Very small wine list and beer was not cheap even though it should have been happy hours. Not our worst experience, ever, but close to it.

We stopped too late to eat. we ate at the bar. that was fantastic. it was a slow night, so it was very quiet. we have been there when it is busy and louder and every time we go, we are satisfied.

We were happy for a few days. that was so loud. tomato basil, my favorite was the best I had. happy me, causal dress. my friends and I have a month for lunch, we took a few days time and we have a month time and time for a month visit.
