Sonny's Bbq - DeLand

I have visited several Sonny's locations, and this one is smaller but very clean. Considering it is a chain BBQ restaurant, I thought the BBQ was quite good. Our server was excellent, even though I didn't catch her name. Would I dine here again? Absolutely.

I love this casual BBQ spot! The house ale was delicious and I make sure to visit every time I'm in DeLand.

I had another fantastic experience during my recent visit to this restaurant. It was Spirit Night for a nearby elementary school, and the portions were perfect for sharing.

Just an average place to go. Service ok, turkey was dry, beans had good flavor, garlic bread left over heat lamp for a while. Crunchy one side other was normal. Prices keep going up, quality going down. If you are in a hurry to eat this is your place. Probably better than a drive thru..but if you want to have a sit down with some friends, I wouldn't recommend

We came for lunch and it was super busy being Valentines Day, but the staff was quick and the food was amazing. I had the loaded tots with pulled pork and I would hands down recommend trying it. Can't wait to come back.
