It was about a 20-minute waiting period that was good until they told us we had to wait outside in the icy cold with snow mix and our 1 year old daughter. It was because of Kovid and I subordinated that to some extent, but no one wore masks in this entire restaurant and there was a family there waiting for place. So we went outside and I looked over the street and saw this really cute Burgerplatz, which was the Hamburg guest house. I called by to see if they had an open seating, not to realize that it is all the mating seats and asked The young man when they let people wait outside. His answer was Oh Deity no. I said we're on the road we're on the way forward. As soon as we went to the young man who was new and set us up so fast. Had this very cool chair attached to the counter. He was so incredibly friendly and gave us the BEST service! The staff was as friendly and I loved how you could see how you make your food right in front of you. Our food was delicious and our little one loved her cheeseburger. The atmosphere was great. ,I'm glad the other place told us that we had to wait outside because if they didn't, we didn't have to experience this little jewel of a restaurant. If you are going through or living in this area and have not been, I highly recommend this place. We will be sure again!!!!
Amazing food! This feels like a more retro take on what Thurman's does, and that's a huge compliment! Vintage diner meets classic foods with a modern touch. Made to order with the utmost care, and perfect presentation!
This is a great local spot. The breakfast is quick but quality. Lots of regulars but also welcoming of new people. Also if you can snag one of their cinnamon rolls, make sure you do!
Friendly service and fairly busy for a weekday morning. Most breakfast items right around $10 or less. Only (slight) disappointment was that my omelette description included chorizo and, honestly, it was either missing or SO slim that I didn’t get any taste of that at all. Overall a nice downtown spot.
Friendly little place downtown, the seating is unique as it community seating no single tables unless you sit outside (Monday seating outside was closed due to limited staffing). I had the hangover burger excellent, and the waffle fries were ok; if the server was on her game, they would have been great sat around a little too long (cold). My daughter had the cinnamon roll breakfast, which was tasty and plenty!! Service seemed slow with a half-full noon crowd, and condiments were hard to come by buying overall; I would return!!
