Zai is a quintessential western bar located in the GK-2 market. The place is complete with two floors and two bars. The ground floor has a VIP section which can also be converted into a stage for Live Performances. The first floor is totally to party and has a very laid back vibe. The crowd is diverse and the best part is the background music. They play everything from country to rock. The place books an eclectic mix of entertainment which draws a lot of crowd. Coming down to the drinks I just love what they have done with the Martini's and drinks. From Litchi Martini to 007Bond Martini they have it all. Litchi Martini had rose petals while 007 was beautifully curated to give that effect and colour. The star of the Cocktails ,however was the Summer of'69. This is a rum based drink with chunks of orange and lemon, orange juice is the perfect thirst quencher. Even the mocktails left me speechless tried the Zai Twist. It has fresh orange,Peach Syrup,Cranberry juice and lime soda. This was a very refreshing mocktail. They have multi cuisine menu and a new menu is also being launched. In starters we tried the Non Veg Tandoori platter and Mutton Galouti. The Non Veg Tandoori platter had all my favourite things, delicious murg malai tikka, soft and juicy chicken tikka, tender mutton seekh kebabs and scrumptious fish tikka.Mutton Galouti was served in a prantha with mint chutney and fresh salad was absolutely delicious in taste. For main course we went with Chinese although they had a pretty good variety in oriental as well. To my surprise even that was amazing. Generally in multi cuisine restaurants one cuisine always overtakes the other but this place has proved that wrong. So we had Chicken Hakka Noodles with Kung Pao Chicken. Noodles were perfect with generous amount of chicken in it. Kung Pao was excellent made with chicken and topped with peanuts. It was spicy, slightly sweet and incredibly delicious. We ended our meal with the Good Old Chocolate brownie with ice cream topped with chocolate sauce. The brownie was soft, spongy and fresh and was served in martini glass. On the whole this place has a very country type vibe and is the perfect place to party and have good food.
The next door, go to party place. Great infra. Courteous staff and good events. Would recommend it to people who want to party and have fun!
