After our walk, we were eager to enjoy some of our favorite Japanese dishes, particularly takoyaki, but we had to make do with the available options. One highlight was that they offered miso soup, gyoza, and taro bubble tea—some of my child's all-time favorite foods. I noticed on the menu that they listed karaage, but it resembled chicken nuggets rather than the crispy, juicy pieces of fried chicken that I associate with true karaage. It seems the menu is tailored to local tastes, as many comforting Japanese dishes like soba, yakitori, udon, oden, okonomiyaki, and tonkatsu were unfortunately absent.
As a member, I always enjoy having lunch at the Cornell Cafe. The view of the lake creates a lovely atmosphere, making it a worthwhile visit. Food: 5/5.
The restaurant offers an amazing selection of Asian dishes, complemented by a fantastic view that enhances the dining experience. Our food was served promptly and was delicious, making for a memorable outing overall.
The food here is excellent, but the main highlight of dining at this restaurant is the stunning view of the garden. The Food Network featured this restaurant, and it primarily offers authentic Japanese cuisine. Portions are small, following the fine dining style, allowing you to sample a bit of everything. They also offer Japanese beverages like Rasmune soda, which has a bubblegum flavor—more suited for kids, but still fun to try.
The presentation was stunning and the food was absolutely delicious! They offered vegetarian options, along with ice-cold beer and boba tea. We tried the Classic and Vegetarian Bento Boxes, and there was so much food—everything was fantastic!
