Pollo Tropical - Delray Beach

Friendly staff, good food and even in rush hour they prepare the food fast. This is one of my go too polo tropical locations I always revisit almost daily when I'm feeling for a tropichop or quarter chicken rice n beans.

Great overall service. Food is top notch, and wait is minimal.

Slow and poor service. The girl in the register was nice, but the other one that brings the food had a setting. I asked for fresh chopped onion and she looked at me as if I had spoken geebrish. They didn't. I also asked about salt and pepper and the answer was?we didn't?.

My Wife had the soup, she rave about the soups ingredients. Well nothing to add but the spoon and your mouth. It much have been good because she is still talking about it. Oh by the way I had chicken breast grill with the yellow seasoned rice, I'm still full.

My family bought dinner from Pollo Tropical tonight and were happy that we did. The portions are hefty, fed 5 of us with some leftovers. We ordered a Family Duo with chicken, white rice, and black beans, fried yucca, chicken soup, a strawberry tropic chiller, chocolate chip cookies and a decadent chocolate mousse. The people worked super hard getting the orders out in a balanced fashion from the dining room and the drive thru. My husband and I shared the 5.5 ounce chocolate mousse, and it was the perfect amount. I would've easily given this restaurant 5-stars, if it weren't that the sweet plantains (my husband's favorite part) were completely missing from our order.
