Though the food selection has been limited, nothing as bad as yesterday, a BIG day for horse racing. The staff was wonderful and why they stay here is a mystery. The kitchen had no food. Eating options were hot dogs, popcorn and snacks, chips, nabs, candy, etc. No cooked food! The bar is always understocked, and under staffed. While regular liquors were displayed, they had NO mixers. No **** Mary's, margaurita's , or anything else. If you drink Scotch and coke, you were in good shape. At least early in the day. They had 2 bottles of wine, 3-4 ounce size, like you buy and a little 4 pack. They had bottled beer and draft. The televisions are from the 70's and hard to see. A couple of flat screens are spread through the location if you'd like to spend your day standing to watch them. I realize this is not a casino on the vegas strip, but it is a captive OTB for people within about a hundred mile radius. So, Harrah's, if you are incapable of managing a small OTB, find someone who is. I have been to casinos, Las Vegas, Indian, boats, etc. I have NEVER been to one I couldn't buy a **** Mary. Next Challenge: Why can't you bet horses at Mississippi casinos?
