I freaking loved it, and I will be back with friends! Nu was super hospitable and friendly during my visit. She even sat down and explained the origin of my dish. If you’re looking for some authentic Chinese food, definitely a must try!
Honestly, I hate to do this, I never leave bad reviews! But this needs to be done. I have ordered the gluten free green bean chicken here several times (the owner has taken my order). It 's pretty good food for the lunch price. The last three times I 've called, I 've spoken with a particular employee who has once told me they dont offer gluten free dishes, and then today, told me they dont have the particular dish I 've successfully ordered four different times available in gluten free .It seems like they just don 't want to take the time to make it. It is frustrating because I work right by this place and it 's the most convenient location for me to eat lunch. I 'd also like to support their start up, but the number one rule for new businesses is to be consistent. It feels very discriminatory since I 've ordered this dish before and then on certain days when this employee answers I just can 't order it? Make it make sense. So unhappy with this place. My coworker who isn 't gluten free has also ordered here a few times and every time she is very disappointed with the lack of flavor in the food. Just go somewhere else is my advice. Dietary restrictions: One day they can make you gluten free dishes, the next day they can 't. Go somewhere else.
I had high hopes after reading great reviews! We got Pork fried rice and chicken lo mein. The chicken in the chicken lo mein was so odd. It has a like slimy coating on it like it was breaded and soaked in the lo mein juices. I couldn't even eat it because it disgusted me so bad so I had just the noodles for dinner. It was also very bland. My husband said the pork fried riced sucked and had absolutely no flavor to it at all. I don't know if it is because it was on the American Chinese menu that it lacked flavor but we still like flavor just maybe not the heat of authentic Chinese. I was very unimpressed and honestly don't even want to give them another shot on something that would have flavor if the basic things don't even taste good. They looked decent but didn't taste good. If you try it avoid these 2 things or you will be disappointed. ?
Small place built more for takeout but we loved the food. Got tofu and biang biang noodles w pork. Huge portions and had a full lunch the next day.
Really enjoyed the general tso’s chicken and the vegetable lo mein. Would definitely get again !
