Parked in the Cambie and Broadway area of Vancouver (around 8th, actually, near The Rise complex with Home Depot, Home Sense, Winners, etc., right in front of Whole Foods). Ordered the two pulled pork tacos ($8). Waited for what seemed forever, standing there, must have been close to 15 minutes, which was the only drawback. But a food truck being so busy can only be a good sign! When I finally got my plate and tucked in, I was astounded by how fresh and delicious it was! Truly the best and most interesting tacos I've had in a very long time. A taqueria in Gastown is grabbing great reviews for it's plate of two fish tacos, but this was far superior. It starts with two small (very fresh) corn tortillas for each taco, then yummy pulled pork, then a variety of very creative fresh toppings such as (as I try to recall), pickled onions, leeks, scallions, cilantro, cabbage (in various methods of preparation), and all absolutely delicious. And not only is the food gorgeous, the staff are extremely friendly and courteous, greeting and thanking everyone with sincere politeness. A very pleasant experience all around and I'm sure only one of many to come. Can't recommend it enough! If you see this brightly graffitied truck on your wanderings around town, give yourself a big treat!
Was pleasantly surprised to see a Filipino food truck in front of a packed micro brewery in the upcoming, trendy, gentrified neighbourhood of Vancouver, between Cambie and Main. Hip and fun, food items include lumpia, adobo sliders, pulled pork barbecue -- presented with names such as Thrilla in Manila, Pacman pandesal, and Long-silog. Definitely delicious, with a North American twist! I will look for them every time I crave for this type of cuisine.
I would not hesitate to visit this food truck if it is nearby. It's one of the few that I always enjoy.
I decided to check out this restaurant because my Filipino colleagues suggested it to me.
I absolutely adore this food truck! They play the best music and create a great atmosphere. I can't help but get hungry just thinking about their delicious food.
