The female employee at the front counter took my order and processed my payment. However, she informed me that the transaction did not go through and asked me to tap my card again. This raised suspicion, so I checked my bank account and saw that the initial payment had already been processed. Despite this, she attempted to refund me. When I asked for a refund, the manager intervened and claimed that the employee was attempting to deceive me. It was fortunate that I caught on before any further harm was done. It is disappointing that they do not have trustworthy staff; they seem to be dishonest.

The owner, who was working late on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021, is not the kind of person you want to deal with. They are not accommodating and put their business at risk by refusing to take orders 10 minutes before closing time. When we tried to explain how this affected their business, she reluctantly agreed to take our order but refused to serve us a drink while we waited. Our donair was intentionally made extra spicy, despite us being regular customers at Donair Square. This kind of service and attitude may drive away potential customers in the future.

I enjoy falafel and shawarma, but unfortunately this restaurant did them poorly. I typically eat everything in sight, but I couldn't even finish half of my order. I took a picture so you can see for yourself how unappetizing it looked. I wouldn't recommend wasting your time trying it. I'm not sure where all those great reviews came from.
