The Greek Village Restaurant - Delta

I had an enjoyable meal here. Compared to most places in Vancouver, the portion size is generous for the pricing. Our server was lovely, prompt and friendly. The food quality is alright; not the best Greek food I've ever had, but if you're in a pinch, I'd recommend this place!

Ordered the spicy chicken wings and calamari for appetizers. We felt the wings were precooked and microwaved, not fresh at all. Calamari was ok a couple of us found it too rubbery. Dinner portion of beef souvlaki and roast lamb were decent as well as the service however the food was overall lacking flavour. Wings were a huge disappointment. We didn’t even finish them. The rest of the food just basic.

Came here for dinner on a Friday and the place was very busy. Our service was great, no complaints there at all. The food was pretty good but not the best Greek I’ve had by a long shot. Portion sizes are pretty standard. Overall, good experience and I’d eat there again.

Delicious fresh food and our server was top notch! She made sure my kid free birthday dinner with my husband was perfect. Also they easily have the best tzatziki around!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian options are delicious and filling!

I don't think anyone Greek works there. The Hummus was runny and weak, the Greek salad had zero dressing and some of the vegetables appeared to be the frozen type...and tasted that way. The meat portions were generous but had little seasoning. It was not terrible but it's the weakest Greek meal I've had in Surrey/Delta. There are better choices. Not sure how they manage to get such a high google rating.
