We didn't really get other than a very basis understanding of tea plants and how they grow/are picked, The factory was very noisy (plus our guide very quietly spoken). We were then directed to the shop (as expected, I guess), which was massively overpriced (even compared with specialist UK tea suppliers). Worthwhile ? Just about to be honest.
We stopped here just to take in the lovely view over the tea plantations. We didn't even use their toilet. Easy parking and well sign posted.
A must visit place if you are visiting Sri Lanka, lush green tea gardens and breathtaking views, Beauty at its best.
We stop here for tea on the way and found it to a pleasant experience. They have a simple menu of tea, black tea and cake. The toilets were clean and they are open 7 days a week from 8.30am to 5.30pm.
Had a Tea on the way to nuwaraeliya and very delicious. Tea cake is very unique taste and nice environment with nice architecture. Friendly staff. Highly satisfied.
