Caribbean Grill Roti Shop - Deltona

Really disappointed with this order, especially since I waited much longer for this store when I could have ordered from somewhere else and gotten delivery quicker. The store took forever to confirm my order (like 30 min or more after I placed it). When I received my Honey Mild Wings w/fries, everything was soggy. The fries tasted like old McDonalds fries. The wings were extremely soggy even though I requested extra crispy. I think the store chose to just ignore my note. Quality of this place has been going down hill and its upsetting because they used to be great.

The oxtail is not good at all. Bland and greasy. Tastes and feels like pork. Oxtail portions are so, so small but priced as a large for $25. Absolutely ridiculous. And for that $25 it comes with only ONE roti shell. I do not recommend this place.

No bad rating, but not good. I never had Caribbean food, so I have nothing to compare. The food wasn't like I was hoping. If you have?t had Caribbean before definitely make sure you ask what is tasteful. The food was pretty dirty.

I visited the Caribbean Grill Roti Shop (CGRT) several times and I must admit everything I had was really good. Better than expected. CGRT is a NYC style spot, the physical appearance and food quality is very authentic in this aspect. For me, the hardest part about life in Florida has to find good food spots, so CGRT gets a thumb in my book. The first times I visited CGRT, I?ve ordered the Gyro (combo) over rice plate and the curry chicken with red. Both are excellent. I'm not a big fan of Curry Chicken, but her is one of the best I had. The Roti was very soft and tasty. The last time I visited CGRT, I ordered the jerky wings with vegetable lo mine. That was really good! I honestly didn't expect much, but the amount and taste of the food was really good. It's a spicy food, so prepare yourself, but it's not over your head, so don't worry. I'm ready to bet everything else on the menu is also really good. I wish they had a better choice of drinks. There are never more than one or two choices I just don't understand. Otherwise, meet CGRT if you don't already have it. They won't be disappointed.

I ordered several times here by DoorDash. Absolutely the most amazing veggie samosas with tamarind I've ever had. Unfortunately, they seem rarely available. Loves the mixed bowl. The rice in it is so light and delicate. The tzatziki sauce is different than I used (Greek heritage), but delicious. The wings are roasted, which is a sin where I come from lol, but to each one.
