Rustico Fine Mexican Cuisine - Denison

Came here to celebrate my sister's birthday. I called for a day to make a reservation, but for some reason they didn't notice it. There was a man on the front, he asked us to wait a few minutes while he found out. He managed to set up a table for us. He was very nice, respectful and worked fast. Our waitress drank us very quickly. She made sure we always had everything we needed. We ordered some appetizers, nachos and Queso with beef and spinach. OMG... the nachos were great, but this Queso was amazing!!! And the chips were not just trying to eat, so I loved them too. We ordered many different dishes and they were all amazing!!! Come back here!

Finally after Rustico after a weekend in Texoma. This is now tied to our favorite Mexican restaurant near Texoma and wins our favorite dune-in Mexican place. (Favorite to-go is Cielito Lindo). The food in Rustico is obviously made fresh with all the ingredients. You can taste the difference. Our table tried chicken enchiladas (Yum), tortilla soup (one of the best I ever had), and steak Fajitas (so good). We also tried the Mambo taxi (just as expected), sangria **** Mary. The chips were fresh, Salsa was GREAT. And somehow they were able to provide amazing service, even though they were short employees. Just be patient, it's worth waiting. Very recommended.

The food was great, the amount of food for the price was very reasonable, our waitress never left my tea glass empty, they are definitely on their game, I had the chicken Fajita, it was sooo good.

We visited Rustico 9/10/2021 and had a very unique and unforgettable experience. We sat at the bar for a great fajita dinner together with some beer and delicious margaritas. We enjoyed chatting with Barkeeper Amber about a variety of topics, including the Fireball mini fridge we noticed behind the bar. We told her the story of the Italian matriarch in our family who just became 85 years old and loves fireball shots! She brought the owner Felipe so we could tell him the story, and we made a deal on site to take the Fireball refrigerator home! It was revealed at an October birthday party and was the toast of the party! We will definitely be back to Rustico to enjoy Felipes food and gracious staff!

We always love their food! This particular time I had the chicken fajitas which were excellent! Usually I get the pollo con queso. This is definitely in my top two favorite places to eat in Grayson county!
