The chicken parmigiana was moist and packed with flavor, with a perfectly crisp coating and tasty topping. The chips and salad were great as well. The prawn fettuccine and Thai beef salad were just as delicious and cannot be faulted. The staff were excellent, welcoming, and attentive. Thank you for having us, we are very grateful.
A beaut little-country-town pub. Friendly atmosphere and staff, delicious food and ice cold drinks, nice deck/beer garden. PLUS, if you have a self-contained RV you can stay at their adjoining campground. We'll be sure to stop in again on our next trip through here.
Awesome venue in a stunning little town! Passed through here one the way to, and from Bylong. Had to drop in for lunch and as soon as I saw the brisket burger, I was sold!!! Best burger I 've had in a long, long time. The brisket was perfect and so tender soft!! The venue is clean and looms like it 's just had a refurbishment. The deck and lawn area outside is huge and just perfect for the kids! This is a 'must visit ' if you 're close by, do yourself a massive favour and check it out!! I 'm coming back for sure!
What a great overnight RV free Camp. Very generous size meals. Wife loved her lamb cutlets. I was a tiny bit disappointed with the Chicken Saltimbocca. I love the true Italian version. The sauce was a touch bland and watery but there was heaps of chicken that was perfectly cooked and the veggies were very nice. We will go back. Bottle of Verdelho was $30 plus credit card surcharge. We spent $350 in the town on the 14 hours we were there. We'll done guys for trying to attract the nomads.
There is a free campground for caravans located at the back of this restaurant, but you must be a customer and have a meal to support the local community. The van sites are large with a spacious turning circle for big rigs. There is a unisex toilet/shower block with 2 washing machines, so remember to bring your own clothesline. The sites are covered in crusher dust for the van and there is lovely grass for under your awning. The town itself is a hidden gem with a library and information center right across the road from the pub. There are also a butcher, cafes, and an IGA within easy walking distance. I highly recommend stopping here for an overnight stay.
