Denmark Hotel Restaurant

I received tea at this restaurant. There was only one employee working on Easter weekend, which seemed inadequate. The poor girl was overwhelmed, so I helped by setting my own table and getting my own water. The food was just average. I don't plan on returning as it was a disappointing experience, especially for the hardworking employee.

We visited the middle week to dinner. bangers and mash were ordinary pub food quality, but was tasty enough. the chicken curry and rice were underwhelming. service was friendly and efficient.

My wife and I came to eat some months ago. after eating from what was served, we quickly returned to home to prepare dinner. we then did not decide to write an evaluation and instead, praised never back. after reading a previous review déjà vu...included and it seemed that we also had a very similar experience. When we were asked how our meal times were, we heard that their suppliers were guilty that our meal was “less than satisfactory”. please accept responsibility for the product they provide to tourists and locals alike, and not the debt to the problems they have for “not in the position to rent good employees”, “can not find good suppliers”, COVID restrictions or “not our debt”. I can tell them that Danmark has hard-working employees who want to work and are very good at their job. it is a tragic that local products in the art and wise as it is served are used incorrectly.

We visited Danmark Hotel for dinner, and where do I begin? We initially ordered rump steak, but were informed by the waitstaff that due to the local butcher supplying tough rump meat, they no longer served it. We settled for sirloin steak instead. The meal was served with chips and a salad, but it was a disappointment. The salad comprised raw broccoli, zucchini, celery, and carrots without any dressing. The chips were inedible, fried in old oil. The steak looked pale and tasteless, as if it had been frozen and reheated. We were charged $90.00 for this subpar meal, including 2 soft drinks. As tourists visiting your beautiful town, we expect good value for our money when supporting local businesses. It was a letdown compared to the recommendations we received.

What a shame! World class location but no staff. Food is below average because they have no Chef. Service is slow because owner trying to run the bar by herself. Feel sorry for them but can’t recommend any one to go there. Many better places...in beautiful Denmark.
