The staff is very, very friendly and they enforce the COVID restrictions uniformly-which should make people feel very good about purchasing their products. We've tried several flavors during two recent trips and all were scrumptious. The pink grapefruit was possibly the best gelato I've ever eaten anywhere. Did I mention the cost is reasonable and the portions, in my opinion, perfect-a small is very generous and a medium is a total splurge. Don't miss this place!
The first and only other time we went to Zannotti’s was after a Cape Cod Chamber Music concert at the Dennis Union Church in summer 2019. Because of Covid, the Chamber Music Festival is not running in 2020, but our memories of Zannotti’s were SO wonderful that we drove here specially just to see if we could pick up a quart of their Chocolate Sorbet for tonight’s dessert. How they stay in business with next to no parking is anyone’s guess, but, miraculously, they are open...and the sorbets are just as wonderful as we remembered. His qualifies as the quintessential hidden gem. There are ice cream parlors all over the Cape, but this is the best by leaps and bounds...and practically no one knows about it. No lines. No crowds. Nothing but cure cream and sorbets that are the stuff of legend... Perfection.
Tried out some gelato rather than my normal cape ice cream and was very impressed. Got roasted marshmallow and key lime pie. Both were extremely creamy and flavorful. Tasted like fresh, high quality ingredients. Everyone in my party enjoyed their gelato and all the different flavors we tried. Will definitely be adding to my cape cod dessert rotation
Amazing gelato that's all you need to know! Pink grapefruit was my favorite. The strawberry and the dark chocolate were also great.
Incredible gelato! They serve good local coffee as well, but the gelato is fantastic. It is located right on Route 6A in a little plaza of shops and small independently owned businesses. there are a number of smaller rooms where you can find a table or eat outside in the warmer months. They are seasonal so you will need to get your gelato fix in the summer months. When we last visited it was staffed by some younger employees who were kind and cordial. Definitely stop in though as it will make you glad you did!
