Denton Independent Hamburger

The customer service was excellent, but the burger I had was one of the messiest and most disappointing I've ever encountered. Unfortunately, the fries didn't fare much better either.

I ordered a cheeseburger with fries. The service was quick, but the beef was bland and the bun was dry and fell apart. The French fries were fresh, which was nice. However, the restaurant was very dirty, even though there was only one other customer dining at the time. Given my experience, I don’t think I’ll come back.

For $9, I had higher expectations for the burger. The bun was cold, and I’m not a fan of shredded cheese, which was also cold. Overall, it was just okay, but I won’t be coming back.

The only reason I’m not giving a five-star rating is that the burgers were cooked far too well done. For those of us who prefer our beef less cooked, extra well-done burgers are quite off-putting, and they masked the flavor of what could have been a beautifully grilled burger. To the owner: With the clearly high-quality ground beef you use, why are the burgers cooked to such a degree? Customers at a burger joint, just like those at a steakhouse, should have the option to order their burgers according to their preferences. Cooking it extra well done ruins a good steak, and it does the same to a good burger. I've noticed several other reviews mentioning this issue as well. We'll give it another try, but unfortunately, if we encounter another round of overcooked burgers, we may not become regulars.

The food was delightful, and the service was swift and friendly. I give it a perfect 10/10 and will definitely be returning many more times.
