Taqueria Monterrey - Denton

The food at this restaurant is excellent for the price. The serving sizes are huge and the atmosphere is very laid back. The only downside is the limited parking, as it tends to fill up quickly. I would not recommend the beans as a side dish, but the rice is definitely worth trying.

This is definitely the best place I have ever had tacos. I can't speak to the rest of the menu, but I always order the 33/ five tacos, which come with a grilled jalapeño, grilled onions, a potato, two limes, and of course red and green salsa. It's worth the trip just for this dish. It's authentic Mexican cuisine, not like the Tex-Mex imitation people pass off as Mexican food.

The first time was not disappointed! we tried 8 different tacos: barbacoa was so good, huh was juicy, but not tasteful, steak was great taste, but a little over boiled (still delish,) pastor was different, but we both really liked it, chicharrón was surprisingly a favorit! carnitas. *che kissing,* pablano was a good vegetarian option, the lengua (kau zunge) was very good if they like this softer texture of the flesh. green sauce? red sauce? tear beans were boring, somehow tasteless, but standard. we will definitely try again to get more some of the ones we really liked. the woman who took our order was kindly helpful. the food came out very quickly!

We went back to alvarado, tx from winstar casino. we were hungry, we first stopped at chili’s, but we saw this restaurant in a distance. we were not disappointed, we ordered tortas, brittle and elote. the only negatiw, they are not ready to replace.

There was 10 of us and we all had a good time. Food was good! Atmosphere what we would expect from a Taqueria! Service was on point! There was only one server and she took good care of all of us!!
