Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Denton

Despite mixed reviews on the place, I decided to try it. A lot of people said it took forever for their food, so I ordered ahead of time. It was ready when I got there, however, the chicken caprese I ordered was so burnt and tough that I couldn?t happily enjoy my meal.

I have sat at this drive through for an HOUR. I am still in it. I ordered ahead. Please just know if you have low gas your car might die here. On a side note they screwed up both of the sandwiches but I felt it better to leave at that point.

I'm all-over the place on this one but I haven't had their food but have bought at least 20 smoothies there for myself and family members. The majority of their smoothies are honestly lacking in taste. Our families favorite the MangoBerry cosmo which was my families favorite is now gone. The consistency of the smoothies is a little more icy than say Smoothie King but this is not a bad thing- now they need to try Smoothie Kings smoothies and duplicate their tastes. In my opinion when someone orders a Smoothie they may want to provide a small sample of another type of Smoothie at the window to try to entice customers back. Their food reviews appear to be fairly solid so I will check out their grub in due time.

There was this one girl doing drive-thru named Carly. She was really nice and made the experience super enjoyable. She also handed me out a receipt with a survey on the bottom to get a discounted smoothie!! Totally recommend:

I?d love to review the smoothies but I never got one?waited at the front counter for a long time. Employees just stared at me. Never greeted me or even said I?ll be with you in a minute.
