The food at this restaurant was exceptional. Initially, our service was great when we arrived early in the evening with only a few other tables. However, it quickly deteriorated. Our waitress ignored us even after we tried to get her attention, and only came to serve us after being prompted by the host, Jose. Despite the poor service, we found the food to be outstanding. The host even made up for the disappointing service by treating us to dessert. We would return to this restaurant purely for the food, but they need to improve their service if they want to stay in business. If the service was this bad on a slow Saturday night, I can only imagine how it would be during a busy night, especially during baseball season. I wish them luck in surviving.
The food was excellent. Our service started very well (we were one of maybe 5 tables at the time, 17:30, but disintegrated quickly. The hose, Jose, had to intervene after our waitress essentially ignored our table, not only after we did the ol' nod that says, hey, we need to help here, but after we actually go the stand next to us then. In our opinion, the food is excellent, and the host made himself for the terrible service with Dessert. We're just going to dinner. But if this place is to survive, they must get their act together when it comes to service. If it was so bad on a slow Saturday night, imagine during a busy night during the baseball season. I hope they survive.
