Afternoon tea was very enjoyable for me and my wife. The historic hotel is beautiful and the live piano music made the ambiance magnificent. I had the vanilla bean which was so good. My wife really enjoyed the blue jasmine tea and the vegan options for the food. Delicious!Food: 5/5
I asked for more hot water for my tea and they never brought it. Also had to ask twice for more devonshire cream. The piano player plays outdated songs. It 'd be nice to hear something modern besides 'memory ' from Cats and Cohen 's 'hallelujah '.Sadly, the hotel looks a little more run down each year I visit.Denver is lacking in good high tea service, wish there were better options.
Table was set for us upon arrival! Not having to wait for water or guess where you'll be sat is absolutely fantastic! Mini sandwiches were to die for and more were brought for the group as we finished the first plate. My only complaint was that I personally didn't feel I was asked if I need more hot water enough. Although there was plenty on the table since my friend ordered the same tea as me, I didn't find it necessary in the long run. The pastries and little desserts were amazing and I'll probably go back to inquire about purchasing some to take home, especially the macaroons! Yum!
Excellent tea service. Our waitress was amazing at etiquette and so attentive. My two kids aged 12 and 8 had the best time. The food was delicious. We especially loved the cannolis and macarons. Great rainy afternoon activity in Denver.
