The Pioneer - Denver

I would give this place 10 stars if I could! I've been in town for a barbershop harmony society conference at the University of Denver this week. Since campus rules prohibited singing after 10 PM, which is a real disappointment for barbershoppers, The Pioneer really stepped up. They committed to staying open until 2 AM every night during our stay, providing us with a wonderful place to gather and sing together. The drinks were excellent, and the food was outstanding—I highly recommend the nachos! Despite being completely packed, the staff were still able to make drinks quickly and accurately. Overall, the atmosphere was fantastic, and it was truly commendable how they went out of their way to accommodate us.

Busy! Great management and nice folks. We had a beer and a carnita quesadilla. It was quite good. You can even carve your name on the bar top. We'll, I'm not sure, but it was pretty carved up. Unfortunately, I didn't bring my carving tool. But we'll be back soon (ominous scratching going on.... . ?

I love this place, I’ve lived in the neighbor for the past two years and this is my go to place. The roof top patio is awesome on a nice day/night. The bartenders and food are always amazing as well. Definitely worth checking out.

Had to walk up to bar to get service. Wine pour was very poor. Not at a wine tasting, at a bar! Mix drink expensive and served in small glass, meaning less alcohol for more money. Probably more of a younger folk hang out.
