Additionally, we found out that the mandatory service fee goes towards the restaurant's expenses instead of the staff. It's disappointing to see a restaurant cutting corners by sending out subpar baked goods and not wanting to cover restaurant fees with their profits. I think I'll just make my own bagels from now on. Both this place and Rosenberg's seem quite sketchy to me.
I placed an online order that was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes, but I received a confirmation that my order would be ready for pickup 50 minutes later. When I arrived, my bagel was cold and not at all what I had ordered. Additionally, there was a $1.50 charge for flavored cream cheese, yet as you can see in the photo, there was hardly any cream cheese on the bagel. I requested a refund for receiving the wrong type of bagel, but I have yet to receive it.
The bagels here are fantastic, especially for Denver. They’re Montreal-style, which scores extra points in my opinion. Everyone knows that NYC-style bagels are overrated; the secret there is just piling on the cream cheese, which isn't particularly impressive. Montreal-style bagels, on the other hand, are truly remarkable in flavor. As for the potatoes, they’re arguably the best in town. I recommend coming here solely for the pastrami and the potatoes, no matter how they’re prepared.
I never leave reviews, but man I had with this one. To say this meal is respectless is a complete understatement. Right? I've ever cost in my life. The meat is not edible. Burnt to a crisp and leathery. I'll take two minutes to chew a little bite. DISGUSTED. No sauerkraut and only 5-6 potatoes. Do not order from this facility. Get better chefs, do something. This is absolutely pathetic. I paid money for this garbage. If I could give 0 launches, I'll be COULD.
Delicious bagels that definitely seem more Montreal style with the crusty outside and chewy inside, smaller form. We got the Brooklyn with lox, cream cheese, capers, onions and tomatoes. Pretty darn good. Plenty of fish, served open face and with lots of capers. Price was close to $13 which was not optimal but they made up for it with the generous portions. I think one of these is enough for two people as well.
