Matka's And Papa's - Depew

The comfort food at this restaurant is outstanding and all made from scratch. We ordered a large amount of food, and everything was fantastic. We enjoyed an open-faced roast beef sandwich with homemade mashed potatoes, a delicious Polish platter, a generous portion of fingers, and wings. All the dishes were great, and we even took some leftovers home—except for the wings, which were devoured! I noticed some negative comments about the potato pancakes and golabki, but I have to disagree; both were absolutely delicious! The potato pancakes may not be my grandma's recipe, but they were still really excellent—grandma's recipes are hard to beat, after all. Our server, Mary, was also incredibly friendly and took wonderful care of us. She definitely deserves an A+. I highly recommend this restaurant, and we will definitely be back for more!

Wonderful place to eat. Every time we were there the environment and the service was supberb. The food is great and more and more than you can eat. I recommend the French onion soup and beef on wake. Defiantly a good place for a good meal at a great price.

I've been here several times and every time the food was delicious. My wife and daughter love the cakes and potato pancakes. Good size for a good price. I recommend this place.
