The broiled Lemmon fish was to dry, the Cole slaw had horseradish in it couldn't tast the vodka in my drink very much tasted like cheep vodka. Parking inadequate, hard for the older persons who can't walk far if you have to park in the street. Also need a signe regarding the high step going in and out. Many places better than this for fish fry. Cheep booze

So I remember Margie from the old days for her amazing fish fry. I finally made it here to try it out. I bought the large fish fry for $20. It came with one small container of tarter. The fish was amazing and the salads were average at best. I’m a big fish fry guy and try tons of places. When I got the bill they charged me a $1 for the extra tarter. Really??!! I’ve never been charged for tarter anywhere. When I brought it politely to the attention of the two bartenders the woman shrugged me off, but the guys was downright rude. he’s like “Is a dollar gonna break you”. My answer was “it’s the principle, are you going to nickel and dime your customers”. I would never go back here again. It was one of the worst experiences i have ever had. Too bad. Margie would not be happy. In response to your response, then you are an outlier in comparison to other establishments in WNY

We are visiting from out of town and decided to order the fish fry. It was amazing. Maybe the best I have ever had. The salads were great also. I wish you were closer because you would be a Friday staple!

As life time buffaloians we’ve been looking for a wing spot to host out of town guests (Buffalo=wings mentality) ever since Roncone’s closed on both Harlem and Abbot Rds years ago. We hope we’ve found it. Anchor Bar? Duffs? Dont waste your money and time. We want to feel confident recommending a spot and we’re quite certain we’ve found it. I’ll put Margie’s (breaded) wings over anyone else’s. Haven’t had their regular yet. Whoever is manning the kitchen… kudos. The hot breaded wings could not have been better. We are Tullys fans (always consistent and above average) but after watching Margie’s specials roll out of the kitchen and enjoying our wings…. why go chain? Bar prices and service was great. Gonna visit again (and again) if it’s as good as it was today….count us in. Try it. You will NOT be disappointed.
