Clarion Inn Surfrider Resort

Perfect place for a few days vacation. we come here at least twice a year and love the location. beautiful restaurant before place and eating is quite good. love with fogerty creek park and beach among us. I can't beat the hope. ready again. just wish they have some rooms with kitchenette.

This place was great! My wife and I were here for our honeymoon, and we really enjoyed staying here. The location was really nice, one way was the cute shops in Lincoln City, and the other way was a good view in Depoe Bay and Newport. My wife and I both work in a hotel, so we went with an idea what is to be expected, and the staff has enjoyed it

Our room was sea view and amazing. The room was pretty clean, but there were some spots that would have used some extra attention. The fireplace was a beautiful supplement and was well used by my older pup. Keep in mind that the water pressure is difficult.

Surfrider is a hotel we have visited over the years. they have made some upgrades, but the cleanliness of the room has gone down. it doesn't seem that they are mowing and tending to ding, as much as they used to. the firefighter house was gone, the training room and the playroom were closed. the small details were not inclined. the restaurant quality and taste were not so good. the staff was friendly and the location is wonderful as always. many small problems and great prices for what we have. we give him another chance to improve as we love this location, but think twice when they expect something nice at the moment.

First, this is not a resort . It 's a typical run down beach hotel. Don 't let the pictures online fool you!!! These are professionally staged photos and are not a true representation of the rooms or the pool. The room: had an old musty smell, there was hair all over the floor and hair all over in the bathroom. The baseboards had a lot of dust and the fan in the bathroom needed a serious cleaning. Not that I use a hair dryer but there was so much fuzz and dust in it. There is visible rust on many metal fixtures and the sink and toilet are great for people 5 ft or under. The beds sat on untreated plywood and wasn 't even a real bed frame. My bad for not noticing that there was no air conditioning and it was muggy. Our room did over look the beach which was very nice but the deck was sketchy and really needs to be replaced. The pool looks pretty big and luxurious in the photos online. Wrong. Small little pool housed in a sweat box that looks like a greenhouse. The pros. The staff was nice, there was beach access from the hotel and the view from the room. That 's about it.... I ended up spending over 600 for a 2 queen bed room for 2 nights. It 's seriously a 99.00 a night hotel. Not only did I get catfished by the photos but I got ripped off.
