Gracie's Sea Hag - Depoe Bay

Big little diner with rich history and great Clam Chowder. I had the Monte Christo sandwich; this is a personal favorite of me. It is prepared for a unique way that I really liked. However, it had a fishy taste I noticed with every bite. That's why a 4 star rating.

First-time exploration of the coast of oregon. the sky was gray and Gracie?s sea hag shone in the far away. happy for me and my faithful companion; it was the only restaurant in the opposite open. our breakfast included a serving eggs benedict, orange juice and two Belgian waffeln. every bite eaten. it has brightened up our day!

The best Clam-Chowder I had. The food was great too. The Tuna Sandwich was big and the kids fish and chips were big enough to fill my stomach. I just wish I had ordered a bowl of Chowder vs. A bowl.

It was said that we would have to get the shell cats here and it wasn't disappointed. 9 in our group and 7 of us agreed that it was the best Clam Chowder we had eaten in Newport. The food was delicious and the steamer combs were great and delicious. Great service, great shopping in the area and beautiful views of the sea on the street. We ate Clam Chowder at 9 different locations, which is a must stop restaurant when you? I'm looking for delicious chowder!

Clean and playfully decorated, inside seating. Service is friendly but hit and miss on if they come back anytime soon. We waited for 10 to 15 minutes to be seated,, turned out to be 28 minutes. Ordering took a wile but, they where busy. When we did order, it was fast. Then waiting for food was nuts slow. I could have caught it fresh at the bay and fried it before we got our food...lol. Fish and chips was greasy! Barely a small hand full of fries under the fish and chips. Not worth the money. The tuna tacos with pineapple chutney...good idea but bland. The tuna was perfect and silky. Just no flavore (tuna or the chutney). Bottom line with this place is if your looking for seafood on the coast, there are better priced places for better quality food. Not a recommend for me.
