Liz made my son a fabulous 21st birthday cake! Stunningly decorated and tasted absolutely delicious!

The cafe was busy on a rainy Monday morning, and I could see why. Excellent tea, made from loose leaves rather than tea bags and an excellent full English breakfast made from quality ingredients soon made me feel better about the world. The cakes looked great too, though trying one will need to wait until my next visit which will be soon

The most Special birthday breakfast with my family. We were seated in the garden under a gazebo. Food was fresh, tasty, beautifully presented and the birthday cake was gorgeous. Lovely friendly staff. Certainly becoming a birthday tradition. Made my day

I recently visited Gilbert's with a friend after not seeing each other for 2 years because of covid. We decided to book the afternoon tea and it was a perfect experience from start to finish. When we made the reservation, we were able to provide our likes and dislikes, and the staff was happy to accommodate our preferences. The food was delicious and fresh, and there were so many cakes that we couldn't finish them all, so they kindly packed them for us to take home. I would definitely recommend Gilbert's to everyone.
