Miss Coffee - Derby

This café, situated in the center of Derby City, offers generous space and serves decent coffee (could be improved) with friendly customer service. It is usually crowded, with comfortable couch seating in one corner in addition to regular chairs and tables. A great spot to relax or be productive. They also offer a variety of food items from M&S, with their flapjacks being sweeter and tastier according to my son.

Morning 8:30 am. Costa in Derbion on the lower floor. The waitress is puffy and reluctant. I wanted to change the cutlery knife as it was dirty, she could not find a clean one. I asked him to wash it with hot water, rolled his eyes and just steamed the knife. Where are the days in this Costa where pleasant smiling people worked. I work in a restaurant, but I always smile at people, even when I'm not laughing. It's not people's fault that I don't feel well.

I sheltered here from the pouring rain early in the new year. Welcoming staff, good coffee and a nice armchair by the window to watch the world go by!

We went in before work to kill some time we were unaware that we had to buy something to sit down, we had an energy drink and an empty McDonald’s bag and the assumed manager was immediately confrontational, stating we were “taking the ****” and was strongly implying we had to leave, we were immediately apologetic and purchased something, he was then really short with us and we felt we had to leave, no need for instant aggression, very poor behaviour

Always here , great place , excellent friendly staff , been to other Costa's and non as good as this , look forward to coming for coffee 10/10
