Zanfish In The Village - Derby

Food was cold. No one in the chip shop at 8 pm on a Saturday night. Naan bread was cold a soggy. Chips and chicken kebab cold. Food was inedible. Rushed service. Shockingly bad will not be returning.

Afraid to say staff let it down , they don’t listen to order , no customer service , fish Ok but any thing else is disappointing , I will be trying to find some were else , I emailed them about my complaint no reply , that says it all not bothered with customers

Went to Zanfish in Heatherton village tonight at 19.20, asked for 2 potato fritters, to be told, we have none, it’s ok I don’t mind waiting. We have run out, I said, run out, are you kidding me, yes we have no cut potatoes, only chips! When we run out we don’t do anymore, that’s me done there.

My meal deal fish, being scrawny and cold, my measily chip portion also cold! one of the worst services i have ever had from Allenton store in all the 15yrs ive been a customer to under different trading names!

Visited here today and DEFINITELY will not be going again. Jacket potato was almost solid inside, baked beans portion was no more than a tablespoon and a sprinkle of cheese, I know this can't be there usual portion size as last month I had one with Cheese, beans and tuna mayo and portions on all 3 toppings were VERY generous and the potato was soft. Staff talked down to customers. Although I have an update food hygiene certificate common sense would tell anyone you DON'T chew chewing gum while you are serving food!! If I could give half a star I would have done. In future I will go to the Zan Fish at Heatherton as food and staff here always nice or the chip shop at Mickleover.
