Madrocks Restaurant Sports Bar - Derby

Updated 5-16-2024:It was seat yourself this time. I was promptly greeted but that was about it. The waitress did come give me a refill after I had been waiting awhile with an empty glass and needing more ranch. When I was done I’m not sure how long I waited for the check. It felt like 20 minutes or more. I had to flag another waiter down and ask him for it and I explained I had been wait for a long time. He then went and checked on 3-4 tables before telling my waitress I was ready to pay. This came off as very rude to me like my time wasn’t worth it to him.The food is great but the service needs a lot of improvement.Old review:That food was great. The service was friendly but extremely slow. We waited a very long time to be acknowledged to be seated. Almost to the point where we were going to leave and go somewhere else.

Great atmosphere and super friendly service with our bartender Joshua. We ordered the pizza and had a nice surprise of Musical Bingo night… that made our visit more fun also while catching the Sweet 16 BB games. Also this is a Veteran owned establishment so a great opportunity to support a Vet owned local business.

Alex was an amazing server. She showcased awesome people skills. Food was okay. Not the worst but not the best. Atmosphere is very much a bar trying to be a restaurant. Prices average.

TOO LONG TO GET FOOD. Really like the food and ambience, but HAVE TO get better on service delays!!!

Had the chicken tenders dinner. There were 6 pieces that were tender and juicy. I got the Cole slaw that was very tasty. The beer was nice and cold too. Price was low for the amount of chicken. Definitely recommend.
