Mexi-kan Kitchen - Derby

This is a fantastic place to eat! We really enjoyed it; it has a much more modern atmosphere compared to the typical local restaurant vibe. You know the kind I mean—the "hole in the wall" with a dim ambiance that appeals to shift workers. This was our first visit, and we had a wonderful experience. The menu was extensive, with so many options, all clearly described. We opted for a couple of specials they were promoting: the puffy taco combo and the fish taco combo, both of which were excellent. We also took advantage of the $5 Quesadilla Monday deal for the kids. The full-sized burrito tortilla cut into wedges was fantastic, and there were even some leftovers! I wish I had taken photos of the food because it looked amazing! Hopefully, next time!

Fantastic! You get a generous portion of food for a very reasonable price – this burrito, along with rice and refried beans, plus a large drink, only cost $10. Everything is freshly prepared, so there’s a slight wait, but it's definitely worth it! The interior is a bit cozy, but it's very clean and inviting. The staff is friendly, and they deliver your food right to your table, which is a nice touch. They also make their own salsa and guacamole!

The puffy tacos are my family’s favorite tacos by far. The employees were super nice and helpful, made us feel very welcome. Manuel was amazing and made sure we were taken care of. Will definitely come back again.

The food was quite good and affordable. They offer daily specials, and the drive-thru is open until 2 AM. Her verde sauce was delicious and not overly fatty.

From San Antonio, TX do many trips in the USA and International. The name alone interested me to try and see it. Was warm as soon as I entered, the area was very clean and even the kitchen (reality). I have the #2 puffy taco and street taco (corn tortilla). The puffy/chicken taco was full of chicken, had a good taste and not dry, which was impressed. It was really good. The street taco was Steak and that was also very food. next time wil have my puffy taco with steak and chicken. The chips and queso were good, I mean his much better than the other places, I can say it was good cheese. In everything I was very impressed and it cannot be an authentic Mexican/taqueria. Thelese mexi-kan can make a good taco! The salsa i was impressed, taste and freshness. came here a second time (Tue) and got Steak (1 puffy and two street). As good as the one I got before. They were alittle buy at drive-thru, they still come large ppl.
