I thought we had to cancel the booking. the personal is always welcoming and the place in the old house is gorgeous. our party of four had the main winter menu. our appetizers included salt-baked celeriac, tandoori guinea fowl and tempura crab. our main thing were pan roasted healed, roasted, sirloin steak and venison. I'm sorry, my description doesn't suit the complexity or the aromes of menu choices. we were there to celebrate the birthday of a hospitable, and the staff took up and presented him free chocolate and an icy birthday message. excuse them that we had to get out because of the weather, we would have liked to stay longer and enjoy coffee at the lounge log fire.
We had the weeks at fischers yesterday, it was wonderful. contemplate the detail from the moment we arrived. eating was simply amazing as they say compliments to the cook. it must be the best lamb dish I've ever eaten. thanks for a wonderful meal. my tasty bites for birthday and he was sure satisfied,
My man brought me surprised at the first high-time day. it is exquisite! the service and the personal are amazing and made us feel very relaxed as soon as we have set ourselves. the food itself was delicious and well coordinated. the aromen in each court were perfect and beautifully presented. we also took the weinflug and found the pairings to a high standard and the perfect companion to eat! would definitely recommend!
We stayed at Cruck Barn, a charming holiday home owned by Max and Susan Fischer. The hospitality we received was excellent. We dined at Baslow Hall three times this week and were blown away by the amazing food and service. We also enjoyed a meal at Rowleys, another restaurant owned by the Fischers, which was equally fantastic. Having dined in over a dozen Michelin star restaurants, we can confidently say that Fischer's Baslow Hall is among the best. There is no need to go anywhere else in the Peak District. We will definitely be returning.
I last stayed and ate here in the mid 1990's I always vowed to return one day and this weekend I brought my girlfriend for her birthday Well nothing has changed, the menu was interesting (goose liver pate with cherries? but trust in the chef and you will be delighted, a sumptuous meal with attentive service The garden room was a delight, spacious with great views of the garden
