A&r Southside Diner - Derry

Nice clean place, great service, good food. Had pancakes, home fries and bacon, all cooked fine! Not much flavor from the homefries, but good. Definitely a great place for good quality food and service!

I've come here several times on weekends between 12 and 12:30. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Every time i have had to use the facilities, they have been clean and smelled fresh. The atmosphere makes me nostalgic for times spent with family in my childhood. And the food is fantastic. I've tried both breakfasts and lunches. I prefer the breakfasts, because I feel like diners like this are for breakfasts. Personal preference. The lunch was still good. Overall, a great place to go!

We visited this restaurant because we had a coupon, and we're so glad we did! We will definitely return. The food was fantastic, and the staff were friendly, providing excellent service. We enjoyed the cinnamon swirl pancakes, banana caramel French toast, and one of their eggs Benedict. All three dishes were delicious!

Fantastic servers! They have such pleasant attitudes, and the food is prepared exactly as requested. The portion sizes are generous, and there are various specials to keep things interesting. My only complaint is that they don’t offer homemade hash, which would pair perfectly with their potatoes, whether you prefer them with or without onions and peppers. Plus, the chef knows how to cook without overloading everything with salt. Thank you!

I really enjoy diners that offer small plates! Sometimes, you just need a little something to tide you over until your next meal. A&R Southside Diner has the perfect solution for that. Their American-style poutine small is just right for me. Be sure to order the Smothered Homefries as well!
