The half chicken I had was incredibly moist and flavorful, paired perfectly with fried plantains. Next time I visit, I’ll be sure to try something different!

The server boasted that the chef was the best in all of DC, MD, and VA. When I asked for jelly, I ended up with shellfish instead. When I asked about lemon juice, the server informed me that I was the first to ever complain and continued to insist that the chef truly was the best. This charming little mom-and-pop Peruvian restaurant is tucked away in the back of a beer and wine store. While seating is limited and it might be a bit tricky to locate, the effort to find it is definitely worthwhile.
