La Mie Elevate - Des Moines

There were chocolate stains on my bed or so i think.. And moldy breast milk in my fridge. This place is disgusting!!!!

Unfortunately, this place was quite underwhelming. The food tasted fine, I ordered the smoked salmon omelette which is only egg whites with smoked salmon slices laid on top. There were no pastries available when I arrived, as well. It’s labeled as a French bakery and I was hoping to get baked goods. The latte I ordered was great temperature, not too hot or cold, but was off in taste. The espresso was drowned in the milk and flavor was lost versus being a balanced drink. More so a bummer than anything else.

Beautiful place to rest and read a book. Good food and coffee.

Best spot DT for grab and go lunch, or a sit down meal.

A really great place with Greta food their cheesecake on point their french pastries bomb dot com and great sandwiches. My new number 1 for lunch and breakfast
