Open Sesame - Des Moines

This was our first time here and we will definitely be back when we are in the area again. Our waiter was nice and the food came out quick and was delicious! The atmosphere was really beautiful as well.

I love this spot so much. I haven’t been in awhile it was a sweet return. The decor is such a vibe, the service was outstanding, and the food was delicious. I had the #1 combo with rose lemonade. My bill was around $25. I went for dinner around 6:30 on a Wednesday and aside from two other tables, it was pretty quiet. Great spot for an intimate dinner.

This is an excellent restaurant. The combo rice platter was to die for. I was only going to eat half and save half for later, but it was so good I ate the whole thing there in the restaurant. The Open Sesame cocktail was delicious and STRONG, so you get your money's worth. The atmosphere and decor are really enchanting and give off a sense of excitement. It was also fairly quiet and the space is intimate, perfect for a date night. The service was friendly and very fast! My only downside was that the prices for food seemed really high, but the quality and flavor were worth it.

Have been coming here infrequently for years, thanks to a recommendation from my old friend, Hattoun. Never disappointed, always full, persistently exceptional.

I absolutely loved finding this place.The staff was amazing. The food was delicious, and I will definitely be back here. Their falafel was off the charts good. The staff was super friendly. They are just a short bit from the state capital building. ? ? ? The decor was just breathtaking. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian plate.
