Railroad Bill's Dining Car - Des Moines

The food is great and comes out quick. I really like the antiques next door. Great place all around.

I really appreciate her vegan menu, but I can't give this place a good rating. the problem is, they need to learn how to cook. we were their three times, and I just can't go back. the tofu is always blanding with too much tumeric. the cookies are never easy or fluffy. the French toast is burned. I want to like you, I do.

It wasn't very busy when we stopped at railroad bill. it's a nice restaurant. we were thrilled with their vegan menu. you have to ask for it. if we didn't look at their website, we wouldn't have known they had one. the personal was nice. it was a little strange to order and pay, but it worked. we've been waiting for our food for a long time. almost an hour. we have vegan cookies and gravy and the vegan steak sandwich. eating was just okay.

The French toast was the perfect combination of texture and taste, the fruit topping was delicious, and it was nice to have a tofu scramble page option. the vegan sausage was quite well donated and dry, but it was still tasteful and delicious when immersed in syrup. updated by previous review on 2019-11-29

All vegan is marked clearly. generous portions and reasonable prices. free banana oat bars while a hotter!
