Tsing Tsao Chinese Fast Food

The dishes we ordered were poorly prepared and lacked flavor. However, I returned the next day to share my experience, and the management was very understanding and promised to make it right. I’ve decided to raise my rating due to their excellent customer service. Perhaps they were just having an off night.

I’ve been dining at Tsing Tsao since I was a child and recently returned to see what had changed. I ordered broccoli beef, crab rangoon, chicken fried rice, and chicken chow mein. Unfortunately, each dish was quite bland. The chicken fried rice had the most distinct flavor among everything I tried, but even that was minimal. I was taken aback by how greasy the crab rangoon was after just one bite. The bright red dipping sauce was also rather weak. Thankfully, I didn’t get sick after my meal, but I did test for COVID to rule out any lingering effects on my taste buds. I was healthy and fully capable of tasting, so I don’t think my judgment was compromised. Overall, my experience at Tsing Tsao was disappointing.

Last 3 times I've eaten here they don't make the food how they always. It's always soggy, under cooked or over cooked. The chicken is just mush. On 3 different dishes. They've left out onions, they leave out peppers, they leave out pineapple. I asked about it and they said they are too low on food. Take that item off the menu if you can't make it correctly!

I came here for 22 years. the east side of the moines tsing tsao is extremely friendly, there are many sitting options, the menu is enormous and the eating is very delicious. the prices are served extremely appropriate for the amount of food. I was on many places in the larger usa from Chinatown to korea city and this place is able to dine on the eve with some great Chinese that I have tried to stay.
