Des Plaines Family Pancake House

First time visitors. Western Omelet was good big, with lots of fillings. Pancakes with Pecans Bananas also very delicious. Soup was cream of chicken with rice good!Food: 5/5

They do an excellent job with keeping your coffee mug full! They don’t skimp on the avocado. Lots to choose from for breakfast, plus lunch. I had the banana crepe drizzled with chocolate. It wasn’t overly sweet which was pleasantly surprising. All the dishes looked well put together. There were 5 of us, I got pics of a couple plates.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome

Great little breakfast spot close to the Allstate Arena.Small dining room, but prompt service, large portions of filling food, and good coffee. I had the Des Plaines skillet, which was good. Not too much potato, plenty of meat and veggies. I also enjoyed the pancakes, which were light and fluffy. Prices were reasonable for breakfast. Bathrooms were clean and for one person at a time.We'll be back after the Sunday flea markets!Parking: Medium sized lot in front of the place.Wheelchair accessibility: Very small dining room, a wheelchair would have issues maneuvering through here.

The soup is yummy, and my coffee cup was always full. The staff is nice..I work around the corner and after 15 years.. I went a couple a weeks ago and liked it so much. I went back todayFood: 5/5

Great breakfast, will return when in town. The food was very flavorful. If you're a pancake person, they have a good selection. Recommend this for breakfast.Food: 5/5
