Gail's Carriage Inn - Des Plaines

I really enjoy the food at Gail's. Most everything is really good but the pancakes are the star of the show. Really good variety of everything and big portions to boot. You shouldn't be leaving hungry if you eat here. The only bad thing I can think of is the parking can be really rough during business hours and the parking lot is in dire need of repairs. Don't park at the apartment building next to it, have heard they will tow. Otherwise one of the really good places to eat

It is family oriented American breakfast and lunch restaurant with original building design and fluffy American toys for sale near the register. Parking space is limited due to the popular of the restaurant.

Great place to eat! People are wonderful and the food is excellent!

The food was great, service was so so, overall great value for the money, and I would definitely go back.

I ordered from Grilled Cheese Mania on uber eats and apparently this is where the food came from. That's completely dishonest. The food was cold when it got to me and the “Mac and cheese” I paid $6 for IS OBVIOUSLY BOX MAC AND CHEESE. Not worth $6 AT ALL. I also didn't recieve my drink.
