Giacomo's - Des Plaines

It is small place and it was packed almost all the time we were there. Food, to me, was just OK. The place was unbelievably hot. I was running with sweat from the minute we sat down. I would have left but had to stay for my family. The glasses are so old that there is a line scratched into the glass. When I asked to change the glass, I was told” it's just scratched from stacking all glasses” and didn't offer to change. Have not been to Giacomo's since before Covid. Was very happy to see the restaurant busy on a Sunday evening serving (as before) delicious food. Greeting was warm and the service was very good. I really enjoyed the Chicken Florentine.

We love eating here so much, that we decided to have our wedding here too. Anna Maria paid attention to every detail when we were planning the wedding. And during the reception, the staff was superbly attentive and totally on point. Giacomo came out and said hi too! Everyone’s so friendly. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was perfect. Thank you.
