TGI FRIDAYS - Rosemont - Des Plaines

We arrived at 5 and were told it would be a 20 minute wait. I told them we reserved on open table and the guy at the front said that hasn 't been working for us in over a week . It was Christmas and they were short staffed so i forgive the long wait time. We ended up sitting at the bar and our bar tender was great. Not sure what the point of making. A reservation was though if they won 't honor it.

Bad night. Kitchen was too slow and we never got our food after waiting over an hour. I understand it was a holiday, but if there isn't enough help in the kitchen, then just be honest and close the restaurant or say there is a long wait. We didn't get any info until after an hour and I had to ask what was going on. The waitress was very nice and kept refilling the kids; drinks.

My boneless wing appetizers were cold and overcooked. My chicken breasts were both loaded with a ton of fat this was a very disappointing experience. I had gone to the same location 3 weeks prior and the food was lovely at that time.

Took half hour at slow time to be seated. Was told no room only in bar. So loud and annoying. Then we looked and the dining room had tons open and a lot of servers. Not having the bartender and an uncomfortable chair as our dining experience and sadly Food was sub par. Nothing was quite right. The waitress was wonderful made me a peach iced tea was amazing. If it weren't for her. Would have been way more of a waste.

Our waitress Lorain was the sweetest and had the best customer service!
