Pop Cafe - Deschambault

During our journey from Quebec City to Montreal, we were in search of a lunch spot.

I have some personal biases affecting my view of this restaurant, so please take my review with a grain of salt.

In Grondines, it's not easy to find a place to stop for a bite to eat. You're mistaken. The Pop Café is a quiet place where you can enjoy homemade dishes. You'll find delicious typical Quebecois dishes... and yes, you can even try some "farts de soeurs" (a traditional Quebecois dessert)... that's saying something, right? They offer fresh salads, burgers, club sandwiches, fries, shredded beef, etc. - all very good and fresh. The welcoming staff is simply sweet and courteous. That's the people of Grondines for you!
