Aj's Co-op Grill - Desert Hills

I can't wait until it reopens in Sept! This is a hidden gem far beyond the far edge of town. Great food beer service and atmosphere. We walked in thinking we were going in to an old almost abandonned general store but it is a full restaurant all fresh and cleaned up inside with a new stage and two bars and lots of outdoor eating. What a great surprise after a brutally hot hike!

Clean place.... great food and cold beer. A must stop if your in the area.

So it's a great place to get a group of people together for any kind of an event. There is a large covered and open area with a full bar and tables outside. Very nicely fenced in, with an added touch of artificial turf which gives it a sense of home town neighborhood backyard BBQ!Inside it is very spacious open and friendly. Very clean and comfortable. The lighting was just right, not cave like dark or glaring stadium lights bright!The Employees were both extremely professional yet friendly with wonderful smiles!They make a decent bar burger. This I was told by 2 of the people in my group that had them. I had a Salad w/grilled chicken strips on it that was tasty and another person in my group had the same with grilled steak strips and also said it was good.

Fantastic the owner Becky is the bomb, we were on a motorcyle jaunt stopped in the food was awesome the atmosphere was laid back relaxed. The patrons was local great to. Very biker friendly. Madame Horseshoe Hippie will certainly be back

Im sure this is a hopping place at night. Has pool tables and cold beer. Nice quiet stop on a Friday afternoon. Outdoor seating is available to enjoy a burger if you choose. Server was good and helpful. Nice stop on a beautiful March day.
