J's International Grill - DeSoto

I ordered salmon and shrimp with dirty rice. I clearly asked if can get the rice without meat and was told that I could. I get the food and realize that there is beef in the food. I DO NOT eat beef. I haven't eaten beef in years. At this point I'm completely disgusted because i took a few bites. I immediately call back and was offered to remake it. No thank you, I'm grossed out and traumatized now. I want a refund. I call back and she calls the owner who says she will only refund half of my money. Mind you this was a 33 dollar dish. Never going again.

Today I ate here for the first time with my very picky partner. The food was outstanding. It was seasoned well and full of flavor. Our waitress was Z and she was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I had shrimp and dirty rice. He had oxtails and dirty rice. For an appetizer we had beef nachos but we ate those before I thought to take a pic. The chef even came out to greet us and explain his style of cuisine. We will most definently be back soon. Highly recommend!

Great food! The lady that took my order was so nice, she was very honest and sweet! I love this place.. I love the pasta, jerk chicken and dirty rice!

This is by far THE best restaurant I have ever been to. The food is 10/10. I went for my second time last night and got the turkey leg stuffed with lobster Mac n cheese (picture attached) which was phenomenal! The first time I went I got the Cajun pasta which was seasoned to perfection. The margarita/daiquiri mix will have you feeling good too! Will absolutely be coming back!
