The food was delicious, but the long wait times between courses and inconsistent service at the end of the evening detracted from the overall dining experience at Rooselaer restaurant. Despite this, it still received a positive rating in the final assessment. For a detailed review, click [hidden link].
It's a nice frame where you eat proper prizes. Make sure the delicious lobster's made up in different ways, from the hot meat dishes and the grilled paling, you get the water in the mouth and don't forget the beautiful cheese plant! Friendly service, good food and good wine, that shouldn't be for a normal mortal. In short, we go back regularly because we keep going there. Aah!
Upon arrival, our reservation was not found and we were seated at a makeshift table for two, despite there being three of us, without any apologies. The half lobster we ordered for our daughter was disappointing, as it was cut into only two pieces. The autumn menu came with paired wines, but when asked about the selection, the server was unable to provide any details and suggested consulting the sommelier. Unfortunately, there were no suitable wine options available without an additional $25 charge for exotic selections. The portions were small and the prices were high, giving off an air of arrogance. This restaurant, which was once top-notch, seems to have lost its charm over time.
At the arrival, the reservation wasn't noted. Then move three to an improvised 2-personal table, no excuses. Half a lobster for our daughter turned out to be a problem. Autumn menu with modified wines. What wines are they, ma'am? I don't know, I have to ask the mumble. I'm asking him if he has time to come to you? No adjusted wines, because all the exotic conditions for $25. It's a good fall, but it's too small. Too expensive, arrogant, a lot of alternatives this restaurant used to be. There was once.
Enjoy your bib Gourmand-month menu. A fresh fall variant from the classic caesar salad, rich lobster soup, correct deer stick. It's been a while, but the waitresses between the different halls and the stings that usually dropped the shift at the end of the night, restaurant roselaer still takes a point at the last report. For an extensive return, there's a sufficient infood.
