I was not a fan of the flash-fried vegetables as sides, preferring roasted vegetables instead. There are limited vegetarian options on the menu, but the bar staff kindly made me a cheese plate, which I greatly appreciated.
This hotel features two stunning bars that I will definitely visit again for drinks and ambiance. However, I will not be dining here again. The restaurant is highly overrated and the food is mediocre. I would have been more satisfied with fast food as at least I know what to expect. I was expecting a fine dining experience costing around $100 per person at Primrose, but instead left feeling disappointed. The dishes were excessively salty, and when we politely brought it up, we were served even more salty replacements. We were told that seafood is supposed to be salty, which was not the level of service we were expecting. The staff lacked proper fine dining training, and the overall experience fell far short of a five-star rating. While the ocean view and ambiance may be appealing, the quality of the food served on fancy plates did not justify the high price.
My dining companion and I both chose the double lamb chop served over couscous, cooked perfectly medium rare. Our waiter was attentive without being overbearing. The ambiance was charming in a picturesque setting, making it a delightful evening.
Excellent choice for our 10 year anniversary dinner. We had the black grouper and the beef tenderloin. Both were excellent and the service was great. We will be back!
Dinner was good . Would I go back ? Not sure. Service was excellent just not sure the food was the value it was priced for.
