Tienda La Mexicana - Destin

During my visits to Destin, I had a great experience at this restaurant. The staff was incredibly kind; I remember one time I fell off my bike on my way there and hurt my finger. They offered me their first aid kit so I could clean my wound. The tacos are absolutely delicious! I learned there that traditional tacos don’t use beans, which is a surprise for me since in my country, Ecuador, we always include beans. Every time I try tacos back home, I can't help but miss the amazing ones from Mexico—there's just nothing here that compares!

We visited this restaurant a few years ago and had a wonderful experience each time. The family that runs it is incredibly friendly, and they consistently prepare perfect meals for us.

Very well equipped hispanic grocery store. They remodeled the place and it has an eatery too. I did not get to try the food.

Nice selection, well organized, friendly staff. Didn't try anything from the kitchen but the food on the 2 tables that were eating when I was in there looked good. Also: cold beer!
